What we've been up to...

With just a few more weeks of warm weather we've been taking full advantage.
Last week we went to the Thanksgiving Point Farm with my friend AnnDee and her two cute kids; Jette Lynn and Zane.


Lucy thought this cow was the coolest. She would get so excited and start mooing.







Abby chose the biggest horse to ride on. This is a step up from last time when she was so nervous she would only ride the smallest pony. I was proud of her. :)







Lucy absolutely loved riding this pony. She was growling and mooing the whole time, I guess she was trying to communicate to the horse.








Abby and Jette thought it was pretty cool that they weighed as much as a couple of lambs.








Abby started Pre-school and loves it! This is her after her first day all decorated with what she did that day. She came home and told me how she made a friend who's name is Abby too. Then she asked me, "Mom, isn't that amazing that her name is Abby too?" Her new favorite word is "amazing" and I think it is the cutest thing. Everything to her lately is amazing!






Just being silly.












Going on walks. Everyday (weather permitting) we go on a walk. The girls love going to the apple tree, the duck pond by our house, up and down the hills, and of course, looking for dogs and cats. We just can't seem to get enough of dogs and cats at our house. However, we will probably never own one (don't tell the girls, they don't know that yet).


Other things that we've been doing include eating otter pops, Tom is a running machine (only three weeks left until the marathon!), working on a bunch of projects in and out of the house, and just loving this fall weather.
